Simple, Innovative and Intuitive

ReJoyce consists of a spring-loaded arm, a table-top mount, and a hand dexterity trainer called a manipulandum assembly. The spring-loaded arm suspends the manipulandum assembly at a comfortable height for the hand and gives a user the freedom to move the manipulandum assembly through his or her entire range of motion. The spring-loaded arm always gently returns the manipulandum back to its starting position.

The manipulandum assembly features two horizontal handles, a pressure gripper, a doorknob, a key, a peg, a jar top, and two coin simulators. These manipulanda simulate almost any task of daily living from pulling on a pair of socks to pouring a glass of orange juice.

Motivational and Addictive Rehab Games

ReJoyce comes with 10 games that adapt themselves to a user's abilities. No game is ever too easy or too difficult. As you progress through a therapy session, you can customize the game controls for each patient by combining range of motion with finer dexterity tasks. Each task combination is designed to simulate activities of daily living, from simple pulling and pushing, to more complex grasp release, and finally to pinch grip and fine motor manipulation tasks. Hand and Arm Function Test

Based on a patient's abilities, ReJoyce's automated Hand Function Test takes 5-15 minutes to complete. The results are tracked automatically, and are closely correlated with other standard tests like the Action Research Arm Test (ARAT), Fugl Meyer, and Jebsen Hand Function Test.

ReJoyce's Hand Function Test keeps a historical log of a user's hand function test performance, so that as therapy progresses you can objectively monitor a user's rate of improvement.
