What is ReJoyce therapy?
ReJoyce therapy is daily, intensive, one-on-one rehabilitation therapy with a clinician over the Internet. ReJoyce therapy is based on scientific and clinical studies that have been conducted over the last 5 years.
Who is ReJoyce therapy for?
ReJoyce is designed for people suffering from hand, arm and shoulder paralysis resulting from stroke, spinal cord, and other neurological injuries and disorders. Patients with at least a small amount of residual voluntary movement of their affected arm and hand are usually suitable for therapy. One of our clinicians will be able to assess your suitability for therapy. For more information, please contact us.
When will ReJoyce be available?
ReJoyce will be available in spring/summer 2010. We will start offering at-home rehabiliation programs shortly after release.
How much will ReJoyce therapy cost? Will insurance companies reimburse it?
We will release pricing information upon release. Contact us to be notified when this information is available.
Will ReJoyce be available in my area?
ReJoyce is currently still an investigational device, and is therefore not available commercially anywhere. Several clinical trials are, however, underway for stroke and spinal cord injury rehabilitation (see map below). If you are interested in participating in a clinical trial, please contact us.
Will I be able to receive ReJoyce rehabilitation in my home?
In summer, 2010, we will begin offering at-home rehabilitation sessions. Before you can enroll, however, you must undergo an assessment with one of our therapists. Contact us us for more details.
