How It Works
- Patients contacts Hometelemed (HTM) or a clinic directly
- HTM conducts initial free consultation with patient to determine suitability for intensive at-home rehabilitation
- If the patient is suitable, HTM contacts the partner clinic in the patient’s area
- Partner clinic conducts initial online assessment of patient on a fee-for-service basis
- Patient pays clinic, clinic notifies HTM of new customer and pays equipment fees
- HTM ships equipment to patient’s house and supports installation
- Clinic conducts therapy in accordance with HTM guidelines (6-8 weeks, 1 hour per day)

- HTM retrieves equipment
Becoming a Partner Clinic or Clinician
Because our service is highly specialized, we are currently seeking a limited number of partners in each state, province and territory. Suitable clinicians must meet the following requirements:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist in your region
- Extensive experience with neuro-rehabilitation
- 2+ years experience with hand, arm and shoulder rehabilitation
- Working knowledge of computer and Internet
- Familiarity with video chat applications (such as Skype)
- Excellent spoken English
