Hometelemed.com is a privately held company based in Edmonton, Canada. We specialize in delivering rehabilitation services over the Internet to people who have had a stroke, SCI (spinal cord injury), brain injury, and other injuries that affect their mobility and independance.
Our Mission
We are dedicated to helping people recover movement and independance so that they can live better, happier lives. We will open our online doors to patients and therapists in 2010.
Our therapy services are based on the ReJoyce system from Rehabtronics Inc. Using ReJoyce technology, we can offer highly beneficial services directly into people's homes. We are the world's first completely online clinic, with only a small office for administration.
Our services are based entirely on scientific studies that have been underway in various centers around the world for the last few years. We operate using best-practices established from a combination of these studies and from clinicians with years of experience helping people to move again.
